A new variety of a New Zealand forgot-me-not has been recorded bv Mitt. M. La ing and Professor A. Wall from the Port Hills. This rare native plant grows on cliffs above Lyttelton, Governor’s Bay aud Sumner. Unliko the emblem of fidelity introduced into New Zealand from the Old Country, its many-flowered racemes hare blooms that are white, or white with yelloweyes It is a biennial.
