A motion of sympathy with the relatives of two elders of 3t David’s Church. Sydenham, the late Air Forrester. and the late Mr Alexander M'Dowell. was passed by the Christchurch Presbytery to-day. The Rev R. AT Ryburn said that Mr Forrester had been an original member of St David’s, and later was an elder of .St Paul’s, and bad afterwards returned to St David’s. The Rev TT Erwin said that Air Forrester had clone much for Presbyterian ism.
