MEAT BUYERS ON STRIKE.

Smithfield is discussing the imminence of considerable increases in the prices of chilled meat if buyers fail to settle their difference with the Argentine Government, which has fixed a minimum price of all exported meat, the result being a sort of buyers’ strike.
