DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The Christchurch Defence Kiflo Club tired its second competition at 'l'ai Tapu ou .Saturday at 800 yards and 9<K> yards, rno leather was excollent and tile light .food, but a very tricky wind made it bad ior high scoring, and often varied from five degrees left to live right. KAIAPOI CLUB. The Kaiapoi Defence Rifle Club fired its first belt, competition on Saturday afternoon. The conditions were: Five shots application, five shots kneeling or sitting, five shots snap (200yds), five shots application (800yds). The following were tile scores:—
