The C hancery Court appointed a receiver and manager for Becker and Company, Limited, paper pulp merchants, on the application of the National Provincial Cnion Bauk, trustees for the debenture holders. The bank’s counsel said that the company’s affairs had arrived at a crisis owing to the failure of a certain Canadian company to meet its liabilities. *
