Mr T. Crawford, of the seed department of the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ashburton branch, has resigned after twenty-five years’ service with the firm. On Friday members of the various departments tendered Mr Crawford a social evening, and a thoroughly enjoyable time was spent. On behalf of the staff Mr W. C. Smith presented Mr Crawford with a set of pipes, a goldmounted tobacco pouch, and a box oi cigars. Mr Crawford suitably replied.
