For thirty-six years without a break amember of the Reese family has been playing in senior cricket in Christchurch. T. W. Reese played for the old Midland Club in 3887 (continuing till 1918) and was followed by his brothers Dan. the New Zealand captain. John and Alexander, while his son. D.W.. started in seniors in 1916 for High School and latterly for St Albans, Young Dan is now in Melbourne for A couple of years for business experience and is now playing for South Melbourne first eleven.
