WEDDING.

STOTT—DA LZIEL. A wedding took place at the Knox Presbyterian Church recently, the con tracting parties being Jean, only daughter of Mr Gavin Dalziel (late of Rangiora) and Alfred, son of Mr \V. Stott, of Kimberley. The Rev W. H. Horn es performed the ceremony, and Mr Gibbs Jordan presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a simple frock of pale blue ducliesse satin, with angel sleeves of lace, and finished at the waist with pearl ornaments. Her filmy veil was caught with a circlet of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of freesiafe and maidenhair fern. Miss Daisy Beaman was chief bridesmaid and wore a pretty frock of pale blue ‘* pussy willow ” silk, beaded in silver lace, trimmed with pale pink, and she carried a bouquet of pink flowers. Two little bridesmaids, Margaret and Helen Dalziel (cousins of the bride) wore pretty frocks of daffodil organdie, with touches of forget-me-nots round the hair, and carried posies of primroses and freesias. Mr Louis Reverley, of Methven, carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremonv the guests, numbering about fifty, adjourned to the Oddfellows’ Hall, where they were received by Mrs Robert Dalziel, who wore a frock of of smoke blue gabardine, with hat of the same shade, trimmed with varicoloured flowers, and wore a handsome skunk wrap. Mrs Stott wore a frock of smoke blue garbardine ,witli hat of the- same shade. When the bride and bridegroom left for the wedding tour in the North Island, the bride wore, a nigger brown three-piece suit and bat of mole georgette and petal straw, prettily trimmed with French flowers.
