The Atua. which arrived from Auckland via Wellington on Sunday is expected to get away for Dunedin to-day. Ihe Kini arrived this morning with a cargo of coal from Westport and Greymouth. To-day she will discharge the nart consigned to Lyttelton, and then sail to complete discharging at Dunedin. The Otago Harbour Board notifies (bat from the evening of October 16. 1923, the Mole End light situated at the entrance to Otago Harbour. was changed to (U) green, flashing Ssec (flash o.3see), visible 2.5 miles. The Westmoreland arrived at Boston on October 15 from Auckland and resumed her voyage on .October It; for London. The vessel sailed from Auckland or*. September 11. The British India steamer Waipara (6282 tons gross. 3875 tons net) hasbeen sold to shipbreakers. The Waipara, which was built in 1904, was a well-known trader to Australian arid New Zealand waters. The steamer Gracchus <37Gu tons gross, 2 111 tons net, carries about 6700 tons deadweight) has been sold to Japanese Olivers lor about £BSOO, or about £1 10s a ton d.w.. delivery Japan. The Gracchus was built in 1902, and was owned by the British India fis.N. Co.. Ltd., London. The vessel was a regular trader to Australia from Calcutta., both under the Archibald Currie Hag and later under the 8.1. flag.
