On Friday evening last, at the residence of Mrs Bishop, Moorhouse Avenue. Mrs Searby gave an enjoyable evening as a send-off to Mr and Mrs W. Gentles, who aro leaving for the Chatham Islands. About forty guests wero present, and the evening was spent in music, cards and games. The proceedings were terminated by the singing of “ Auld Lang Syne,” and good wishes were freely showered on Mr and Mrs GentlevS. CRICKET.
