OBITUARY.

(Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Alav 14 The death is announced of Mr John At’Queen, managing director of the Southland Frozen Meat Co. He arrived at Dunedin in 1860. He kept a store at Gabriel’s Gully, and then took up land at Knapdale. Air M’Queen was prominently identified with local affairs, and had been chairman of the County Council and president of the Farmers’ Union. His eldest son was killed in action in France
