Ivan Sarich, fourteen years of age, son of the postmaster at Leithfield. was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital to-day suffering from a bullet wound m one of his legs. It is stated that he was shooting on the Leithfield Beach when the gun was accidentally fired, the bullet lodging in hisA leg. An operation to the leg is being performed this afternoon. Mr F. Milner, ALA., rector the Waitaki Boys’ High School, was entertained at luncheon to-dav by members of the Waitaki Old Bovs’ Association attending Canterbury College. Air Milner is attending the .jubilee celebrations of 1 the College.
