The happy couple left for the south amid showers of confetti, the bride travelling in a smart brown oosrume and pretty brown hat. TV ILSOX— TO U X G. A very pretty wedding took place recently at St Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester Street, Christchurch, when Agnes Monica, youngest daughter of the late Robert Young and Mrs L. Young, of St Albans, was married to Frederick Hussey, only sou of Mr. and Mrs F. Wilson, of St Albans. Reverend Father Seymour officiated. Nuptial Mass was celebrated, during which Mrs Frank O'Brien sang Gounod’s ‘’ Ave Maria.’’ accompanied by Miss Mina Ward at the organ’, and Miss Mary Ward, who placed a violin obbligato. The ’• Wedding March” was played by Miss Alina Ward as th--bri'de entered the church. The bride, who was given swat by her brothor-in-law, Air M. Aloodv, wore a dainty frock of white souple satin with sleeves and side panels of radium lace, daintily embroidered with silver beads. She wore a girdle of silver tissue hand made flowers and leaves. Her Wng Brussels net veil was arranged in a mob cap. caught at cither .side with bunches of orange blossom and a band of silver beads. Her bouquet was of white hothouse flowers and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by the bride groom’s sister. Miss Mary Wilson, as oridesmaid. She wore a very dainty frock of pale pink georgette, daintily embroidered in silver, with a silver tissue girdle to match. Her dainty paie pink georgette hat was also trim mod with silver tissue and lace. Little Marie Joan Moody, niece of the bride, acted as flower girl. Her pretty frock was of white, crepe de chine with sleeves and neck trimmed with pearls and silver rosebuds at waist. She carried a posy of white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Robert Young as ' best man. After the ceremony the reception was held at the residence of the ; bride’s mother, where a very dainty | breakfast was set in a marquee, beau- I tifrilly decorated for the occasion by j the sister and friends of the bride. The happy couple were recipients of j many handsome presents and eongraiu- j latory telegrams. A picturesque wedding was solemnised at the Reach Church. Now Brighton, on Monday afternoon, when Lillian, •ldy daughter of Mr and Mrs H.Cockle, Vs irihana, was married to James, second sou of the late Mr. and Airs J. Stokes. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a gown ol ivory crepe de chine, beautifully embroidered. Miss Florr.ie Stocks, sister or the bridegroom, was bridesmaid and wore a dainty iroek of blue silk. The bride carried a lovely shower bouquet <jf white chrysanthemums ancl the bridesmaid a bouquet of lemon chrysanthemums. Mr A. Cockle att<nded the bridegroom as best man.
