The Opihi is due late to-night or early on Sunday morning from Nydia Bay. She will be dispatched ou Tuesday for Auckland. The Opua will sail for Wellington, Westport and Greyinouth this morning. The John is due from Wellington tomorrow with a load of coke. On discharging she will load general cargo for Wellington. Wanganui and New Plymouth. She is timed to sail on Monday night for Wellington. The Wakatu was dispatched from Lyttelton last evening foT Kaikoura and Wellington. The Kennedy will not reach J.yttelton before Wednesday to load for Foxton. The Waipara is due from W'ellington about W'ednesday. The vessel loads here for Avonmouth and West of Fmgland | ports. The Port Melbourne should return here from the south about W'ednesday to load. The Tees is expected back from the Chatham Islands with sheep on Tuesday. The Waikouaiti is due to-day from Dunedin with Sydney cargo for discharge. The vessel is expected to leave Lyttelton on Wednesday for Timaru and Sydney. The Kakapo is duo here from Greymoutli with coal on W'ednesday. The Wingatui should return her© from Dunedin, via Timaru, on Tuesday, to load for W'ellington and Auckland. The Kurow is due to-morrow from Wellington. She proceeds to Port Chalmers The Kauri, from Wellington, is duo to- ! morrow t-o load for Auckland, for which j port she will sail about Wednesday. The Tremere is an expected arrival tomorrow from W'ellington. From thiß port 6he proceeds to Dunedin and Bluff. The Tainui is to sail from W'ellington on Tuesday for Southampton and London. The Westmeath, continuing loading under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company, arrived at Opua on j Friday from Auckland. The vessel will : leave Opua to-day for Auckland, and j should sail from the latter port on May 15 for London, via Montevideo and Las J Palmas. The Middlesex has ben delayed at Auoki land in di6cliargiug overseas cargo, and is j now to leave there at daybreak on Tues- ; day for Wellington. She is due at Welj lington on Thursday morning. I It is reported that the Dutch steamer I Be Greve, 3670' tons, has been fixed to load a cargo of sugar at Sourabaya for Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Atholl arrived at Sydney (Nova Scotia) oil May 7 from the United Kingdom to load for New Zealand main ports. The vessel is expected at Auckland about the end of June. The S.S. and A. liner Mahia has been delayed by rain, and will now sail from Wellington at daybreak to-morrow for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. GOVERNMENT STEAMER LADY ROBERTS

The Defence Department’s steamer Lady Roberts, which has been stationed at Auckland for some years, is to be sent to Apia, Samoa, where she will be utilised as a Government tender or patrol steamer at present being refitted at Devonport. The Lady Roberts is a sister ship to the Janie Seddon, the Government tender at Wellington. NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING CO.’S LINE. Erroll. from St John, due in Lyttelton th i,s morning to discharge.
