FLOWER POTS AND LOVE.

ROMEO AND JULIET SCENE. LONDON, April 29. A real-life Romeo in Berlin has sued Juliet’s father for leaving flower pots j at- his head when found climbing the balcony to his sweetheart’s room. Romeo was Max, a suburban barber, Juliet was Frieda, a shop girl, and daughter of a. locksmith. Both played as Romeo and Juliet in an amateur society’s performance. The locksmith and his wife at night time heard whispering in Frieda's rooms and found Max on the bedroom balcony window. The father warned him off. but the same thing occurred the second night, and then the irate parent threw flower pots. He “didn’t mis-s once,” he proudly told the judge, who said he must punish him, but finally let- him off with a caution. He learned later that- Juliet had eloped with her lover.
