Oliver, as he related to a Gisborne audience an amusing incident as a man who rose in a revival meeting and thanked God he had not sinned for twelve months. Rising from the audience his spouse remarked: “John, I’m here.” John collapsed. “ She had the information, added Dr Oliver as the laughter subsided.
