OVERNIGHT SUMMARY. Sentences of five years imprisonment with hard labour were imposed on Ernert Nichols and Edward Myers who were found guilty in the Supreme Court vesterdav of having robbed Francis Leonard Chatwin ol €O, and v-ith having used violence towards Chatwin. Nichols and Myers wore also declared to be habitual criminals. The informations* laid by the -North Canterbury Accilimatisatiion Society alleging breaches of the Fisheries Act were dealt with in the Magistrate’s Court vesterday.
