On the road he has been rather unfortunate with regard to mishaps to his machine and punctures. On the track be has proved himself to be a very capable sprinter, xsing excellent judgment. The Tvmaru-Chrvstchurch road race has been definitely fixed for Saturday, September Lb. and intending competitors would be well advised to get in al the long rides they can.
