INTER-STATE CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Pre*s Association —Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PERTH. May 9. The Inter-State Rowing Conference appointed a committee to draft a constitution tor a board to control Australasian representation at the Olympic and other International fixtures. It is understood that an additional argument advanced against permitting New Zealand to compete in Intor-State contests was the difficulty of accommodating more than six crews on some of the rivers.
