A LYTTELTON PUBLIC MAN.

MR MALCOLM J. MILLER, of Lyttelton, who takes his seat again on the Harbour Board, has held most of the public offices in the gift of Lyttelton except that of Member of Parliament. He lias been a member of the Board since 1910, and was chairman from 1915 to 1917. He wa« a Lyttelton Borough Councillor for 16 consecutive years and Mayor for three years, from 1910 to 1913. Probably no man ia more respected in Lyttelton. He is a retired master shipwright.
