Mr W. F. Watson, a member of the staff of Messrs Matson and Co., is leaving on Thursday for an extended holiday to Australia, where it is hoped that his health will he benefited by a prolonged rest and change. Mr Watson will be accompanied by his son, Mr Manifold Watson.

Before a full congregation last night Canon C. G. was inducted as vicar of St Saviour’s parish, Sydenham. The ceremony was performed by his Grace, Archbishop Julius. A shortened evensong was said by the new vicar. The first lesson was read by Canon Coates and the second bj Dean Carrington.
