MISS DOROTHY WOOD, seventeen years old, is seen jumping her horse, Sir Aran, over an automobile at the show at Eomonton, Alberta, Canada, before his Excellency Baron Byng, of Vimy, Canadian Governor-General. The horse jumped with three feet to spare, covering a distance of thirty-two feet. Mr George Dewe, a former Christchurch man, who sends the photograph to the “Star,” has enclosed Miss Wood’s account of her feat, which is published in this issue.
