Amongst the passenger* who arrived at Wellington by the Manuka was the Bishop of Adelaide (Dr Thomas), who was accompanied by Mrs Thomas. At Wallal j he used the Cort-ie four-inch Aperture 19-foot focal length camera that had Ibeen used at the English expedition to observe tlic 1910, solar eclipse at BoKr.al.
