SYDNEY, April 18. .Representatives of tlie Maitland district coal miners interviewed their managers and expressed their readiness io resume work. They were informed that the question of resumption was for the owners to decide. ’lt is understood that the owners are determined to enforce the new contracts, ncluding tho promise of cessation of interruption of work before they will reopen the pits.
