A woman surprised the Musbruck Magistrate by asking whether she had married one man or twins. She explained that she had gone through civil and religious marriages on different days, she believed to the same man. Lately, however, when her supposed husband returned from journeys to Berlin and Vienna, she noticed differcnees in bis temperament, inducing the belief that she had married two differ enfc men though they had the same phy '•.ic al appearance. The woman is expecting a child, and is anxious regarding its; paternity. The Magistrate confessed himself baffled.
