MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.

NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. The following additional nomination* have been received in connection with the City Council and local body elections : COUNCIL. Messrs J. E. Coopei. J. Anderson, C. P. Agar. THE ROLL The total number of enrolments for i the municipal elections is 33,682. The | main roll closed on .January 31, with ! 26,860 names, and the supplementary ! roll on April 5. with 6778 names. There are. three candidates for the City Mayoralty, Councillors Tapley, Larnach and Hayward. There is no Labour nominee. , There were twenty-five nomination* for twelve councillors’ seat*.
