DEATH OF WATERSIDER. An inquest was held yesterday into the circumstances of the death of a water.vbler, Timothy Keohane, aged 46. utjwse body wa* found floating :a the harbour yesterday morning. Th* inquest, was conducted by Mr H. Y. M iddowson. Dr Bertram Gilmour *a : x that :her6 were no marks of vfole.i-y or. the body. As a result of r post mortem examination he found that th » lungs, kidneys and liver were in a stat“ of acute congestion. The stomach contents smelled strongly of alcohol. A verdict was returned that the deceas t died from asphyxia through drowning, hut that there was no evidepce to show how he got into the water. ELDERLY MAN’S SUDDEN DEATH. William Ander.son. aged 80. who resided with his daughter. Mr-i Farmer. at 11. Church St roe . Pspanui, dropped dead about 8.30 tl * morning while in the yard at the re-*.-of the house.
