Trooper Dillon was first to show out, but Sir Henry soon took charge, closely followed by Trooper Dillon, Asturio and Lincoln Huon. There was little change at the end of s mile, where Wild Thj’nife' and Emperor had joined the leaders, with Paul Dufault handy, a few lengths in front of Whisperin~ Willie. Going along the back Paul Dufault moved up fast, and half a mile from home there was not much to choose between Sir Henry, Lincoln Huon. Paul Dufault and Trooper Dillon. A furlong further on Paul Dnfauit was in front, while. Whispering Willie was oloeing up fast. Paul Dufault had a good lead at- the entrance to the straight, and won l>v a,..length from Whispering Willie, who beat Lincoln Huon by a neck, with Trooper Dillon next.
