TAD Y EVELYN HERBERT, only daughter of »he late Lord Carnarvon, war the first woman to enter the tomb at Luxor, lady Evelyn assisted her father in the entertaining that followed tho discovery, and was hostess at a large party that included Lady Allenby and the Governor of the Kenya province. She was born in 1901. and is very beautiful. taking after her mother. Her only brother is three years her senior.
