The jewellers of Sydney and Melbourne have established in Sydney a. hail mark company on similar Bnes* to the Hall Marking Company of Great Britain. The Acting Premier has intimated that- when the time arrives every niannfacturer will be compelled to stamp jewellery. Legislation could be introduced in that direction.
