THE COMPETITIONS.
TO OPEN ON MAY 7. The 1923 festival of the Christchurch Competitions Society n-, ill open in the Theatre Royal on ATumlav. May 7. and will continue for the following three weeks. The necessary arrangements have *becn c nnpleted. and there is every reason to anticipate a successful festival. The entries are numerous, and include a number of very talented performers. The official programme and time-table will he issued as soon as possible, and the date of publication will he announced shortly. The judges for the festival are AirMv Asprey, of Sydney (mimic), and UfA. A.
