LATE MR A. BOYLE.
THE FUNERAL. The funeral of the lato Mr Alexander Bovlc took place this morning at St Peter’s Churchyard, Upper Riccarton. The funeral was one of the larggest ever seen in Christchurch, people of all classes of the community assembling to pay their last tribute of respect to Mr Boyle. A large number of wreaths were also received.* The hearse was heaped with floral tributes and immediately behind the hearse there followed three motor-cars loaded with wreaths. Before the service at the graveside a short service jvas held in the Church, conducted bv Archbishop Julius, who was assisted bv the Rev TO. Shore, vicar of St James's Church, Lower Riccarton. As the casket was being borne out of the Church the “ Dead March ” in Saul was played. The services at the graveside was conducted by Archbishop Julius, assisted by the Rev TO H. Shore. The chief mourners were members of the family of the late Mr Boyle and the pall bearers were the oldest employees of the firm of Pyne, Gould, Glinness, Ltd.: -Messrs W. J. Wood. J. S. Tabart, H. W. Jennings, V. G. Carter. J. Anderson. R. Parsons, N. P. Digbv and C. Ray
