The members attending the Esperanto Congress were accorded a civic reception by the Lord Mayor. The Congress complained of the action of the Postmaster-General in charging code rates for Esperanto cables, and decided to ask the same privileges as for foreign languages. It also decided to take steps to secure irthe broadcasting of short speeches by wireless.
