The carnation and .sweet pea show of the Canterbury Horticultural Society i.s being continued in the Art Gallery to day, and will be open this evening. The following additional awards Have been made : Best gladiola in show FI. F. Wiltshire, a lavender-coloured bloom named " Byro-i 1, Smith. - ’ date of gooseberries—O. Hartley-Smitn l. Twelve heaviest gooseberries—F. .1. Adams 1 0. Wartley-Smith 2. Asp lend- displr.y of l-egonias by 1 D Robinson, staged near the entrance *o the show, is attracting considerable auction.
