CHRISTCHURCH. TO DAY’S CASES. (Before Mr H. Y Widdowson, S.M.) DR X N KENXESS. William Louis Stevenson, who appeared on remand, pleaded guilty to a charge of being helplessly drunk. He was convicted and ordered to pay 1< s 6d expenses incurred for medical treatment. Two first offenders were convicted , and fined 10s each in default twentyfour hours’ imprisonment. AXOTHER C’HANCE. Jean Milliard (32) alias Aubrey, alias i Allen, was charged with being drunk in Colombo Street yesterday, having been convicted previously on July -.8 j and 14 and October 2. •• Not this time." she said in answer ! to the charge. “PH plead not guilty.
