On Wednesday afternoon the scholars of Standard XV. at tho Summer School pretented their teacher, Mr K. G. J. Shrimpton, who is leaving for the head mastership of the Eiffelton School, with a silver-mounted Loewe pipe and a novel. Wilfred Poulton spoke on behalf of the boys and Nancy bee for the girls, both thanking him for bis good-natured help, and expressing good wishes for his New Tear in the country. Mr Shrimpton feelingly acknowledged the gift and expressed his delight, at spending such a pleasanttime in Sumner.
