The John arrived this morning from Nelson with sheep. She will load here to-day and <ai' this evening for Wellington and Wanganui. The Holmdale arrived from Timaru last {light to load for Wellington, Wanganui >nd New Plmcuth. She sails for the north this evening. The Wakatu was dispatched for KaiJcoura last evening. She returns here on Saturday. The Wootton arrived from Wellington with explosives last evening. On discharging she will lay up for overhauling. The Breeze arrived last evening from Wellington. She sails to-day for Dunedin and Timaru The C-orinna was dispatched last night for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Koromiko sails to-day for Timaru and Newcastle. The Kini is due from Napier direct about the middle- of the week. The Kamo is due to-day from Greymouth with a load of coal. The Paloona ia clue to-morrow from Melbourne via Yv ellington. She will make her departure In the evening for Dunedin, where she will lay up for overhauling. The Kaitangata is not due until Sunday from Oreymouth. The Cygnet was dispatched from Lyttelton for Kaikoura, Nelson and Motueka at an early hour this morning. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rimutaka Is to leave Napier on Friday for Wellington to complete Homeward loading. She is to sail from here at noon on December 30 for Southampton and London. The Rimutaka is reported to have left Southampton on December 16 for Auckland and Port Chalmers, via Panama. She is duo at Auckland on January 23. The Dorset, which left Auckland on November 2 for London. continued her voyage from Las Palmas on December 16. Upon the occasion of his retirement on superannuation from the Wellington Harbour Board after forty gears' service, Mr H. Tamm, of the Harbourmaster’s staff, was presented with a gold watch and a set of pipes. Captain J. Dawson, Harbourmaster. made the presentation on behalf of the stuff. Mr Tamm is the first, of the staff to complete the full time of forty years’ service. The Port Darwin has been delayed at Auckland. The vessel was to leave AuckUsd laet pi elit for Wellington. Cargo operations on the Port Victor at Wanganui have been interrupted by the bad weather. The vessel was due at Wellington this morning to complete her jargo, and is to sail on Sunday morning for Boston and London, via Panama.
