A BRISK RAINFALL.
CITIZENS CAUGHT IN THE WET. Many citizens were caught unawares to-day by the rain which set in fairly heavily late in the forenoon, and then? was a. rush homo at luncheon time for cvercoat-s. There was a brief cessation m the rain at midday, but thereafter ii fell again and there was a heavy shower at 1 o’clock. Up till 1 p.m. •\Qlßin of rain had been recorded at the observatory.
