DARING PARIS FROCKS. LONDON. December 9. Lad' J)uff-Gordon. reviewing the mannequins’ ball, at Paris, on Friday night, summarises the gowns as more daring than previous creations. Only the best figures could carry them, ‘■'o closely-fitting were some that liitlo was left to the imagination.*Solr, clinging materials, following every curve of the figure, were a feature of evening gowns. Last year’s fashion, which ample exposed beautiful hacks and throats, was frankly eclipsed by the freedom of these designs, whose soft silks reflected the searching accuracy of a sculptor. Only a certain section of Parisiennes devoted to Fashion’s latest decrees arc physically able to accept their challenge and can venture to wear these startling frocks.
