REPRIEVE FOR CHILD MURDERER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received December 18. 8.0 a.m.) LONDON. December 16. Daisy Wright, who was sentenced to death for throwing her child into the Thames, lias been reprieved. A previous message stated that Mr Justice Shearman had sentenced iwc more women to death, creating a judicial record. The jury strongly leoommended both to mercy. Both were removed in a fainting condition. The first woman was found guilty of throwing a child from the Tow*** Bridge, and tlie second of the murder of a woman who was alleged to haver intrigued with her husband.
