MATERNITY HOSPITAL.
INSTITUTION dFOR RANGIORA The North Canterbury Hospital Boards 1-inance and Building Committees met representatives or the Rangiora Borougli Council and the Rangier a, Kowhai. Ashley and Eyre County Council at Rangiora to-day to Oltcnss the project to build a maternity hospital for Rangiora and the sur- ; rounding districts. The Hon R. Moore presided. Plans for an up-to-date hospital to accommodate ten patients, were sobnutted and adopted by the meeting. The estimated cost of the building Is about £6OOO. Sites for building were iben discussed, and,- after an inspection, it was decided to recommend the : Hospital "Board to purchase from Mr .John Waller, three and a half acrew fronting on the Ashley Hoad opposite the show grounds.
