The defendant left a note, whidi showed that die intended to kill herself. The Magistral© ordered the suppression of the defendant’s name and she was remanded for n week for medical observation. WITH DRAWN. Thomas M’Causlnnd (Mr W. F Tracy) was proceeded against bv a young girl, for whom Mr T. \V. Howe appeared, on an application for an af filiation order. The complainant’s ©vi deuce, however, became -o contrivdic torv in essentials that Mr Rowe sail that he would not he justified in con tinning, and the case was accordinglv withdrawn. KAIAPOI. Charles Du .Moulin was fined 20s and costs 7s. James Brown, on two charges of tailing to register firearms, waa fine ! 10s on each charge and was ordered to pay costs.
