A CORRECTION. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN. November 21. The *tatement telegraphed from Wellington that the wntersiders’ basic rate has been reduced by twopence is inaccurate. Th© basic rat© under the old agreement was 2s 3d. to which, alter November. 1920. a penny bonus was added. The bonus adjustment <>f May, 1922. reduced the rate by ljd leaving il 2s 2'id. th© remaining three farthings representing the drop in the cost of living for the six months.
