I The special session of the Senate ad .journed immediately, and is now awaiting President Harding’s message which will be presented on Tuesday. Mrs W. H. Felton, aged eightyseven, the first woman Senator, tool* her seat amidst a demonstration. In the Lower House the ‘ Wets’ lost no time in launching their ftghf for the enactment of a Soldiers Bonus' Bill, the bonus to be paid out of th* tax on legalised beer. Representative Hill, a Republican, proposed the re-enactment of the adjusted compensation measure, which was killed by presidential veto last summer. He '■uggested a twenty cents per gallon levy on *2.75 per cent beer, in order to raise the funds for the bonus.
