CANTERBURY CHAM PI ONSHIPS. The first game in the second round of the Canterbury Amateur Billiard championship was played at the Tramways Club last evening when TV. Karaitiana (Kaiapoi W.M.C.) met if. Ritchie of the E.S.A. Club. The games was 350 up and the former won by 89 points; the final score being Karaitiana 350. Ritchie 26b Karaitiana made breaks of GO, 35. 25 and 25, while Ritchie made 31, 27 and 23: The game between P. Martin and AV. Kelt set down for decision at the R.S.A. Club to-night goes to the latter by default. AV. Smith will play A. Williamson at tho Tramways to-morrow evening.
