WEDDINGS.

ROCHE—MILNE. A very pretty wedding -of much interest to many people of Christchurch was recently solemnised at Melbourne, the contracting parties being Miss Florence Milne, daughter of Air and Mrs Milne, AYest Melton (late of Upper Riccarton), -and Mr Albert •lames (Bert) Roche, son of the late Air and Airs James Roche, of St Kilda, Alelboume. The bride, who was givin away by her brother-in-law, Air AV. Al’Donald, looked charming in a pretty frock of creme wool lace over white georgette and palest pink satin, which gave a very pretty effect. Her becoming hkt was of black shiny straw, the brim being of black cire lace with cire ribbon streamer. She carried a lovely shower bouquet of palest pihk, and white hothouse flowers intermingled with maidenhair fern and streamers to correspond, and was attended by her only sister, Airs W. Al’Donald, who wore a frock of navy and black satin, beautifully embroidered and a smart model hat match. Her bouquet was of pretty pink and cerise carnations with streamers of the same shade. After the ceremony a reception was held in a private room, at the Francatelli Cafe, where the tables were beautifully decorated with pale pink and white flowers. Air and Mrs A. J. Roche left for Tasmania later in the afternoon.
