Constantinople: The Kemalists’ New Objective.
Serious Concentration Reported at Ismid. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable. Association. (Received September 25, 9.5 a.m.) LONDON, September 23. The Constantinople correspondent of the “ Daily Telegraph ” says: “A serious concentration is occurring at Ismid, towards which Kemal is proceeding. There i 3 ground for believing that the Kemalists will make Constantinople their objective rather than Chanak, because of the larger supplies which will be available in the Ismid region, while the hostile population in Constantinople would cause trouble in rear of the British.
