It i=» reported tliat the Kemalist = seized Tonpezine on the eastern 6ide of tiie Dardanelles and that they are threatening Kumkale. an important key position of the Dardanelles Straits. It is also reported that the Kemalists are bringing up big' Skoda batteries, while British aeroplanes are flying ove the Nationalist lines. (Kumkale is on the Asiatic side af the entrance to the Straits from the Mediterranean. It is % shown on the map printed on the leader page. L the above message is correct the Turks have entered the neutral zone.)
