ARCHER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE.
THE WEND UP. {t They’ve all got the wind up. the wind up. the wind up. They’ve all got, the wind up. " Thus might a Christ - church North rhymester parody the old song. The Reformers have got the wind up. Politically many of them hate Mr Isitt; but dare not oppose him. Mr Isitt has got the wind up. Tremulously, if not frantically, he is appealing to the Reformers not to run a man. The editor of “ The Star ” has got the wind up. Ho writes as if the fight is between Mr Isitt and myself, though he knows ‘t is between Reform and Labour. Reform is at the bar of the people’s judgment. labour hasn’t got the wind up. It will fight, and beat, all comers. Tt knows that the seat held by that great friend of Labour the late Mr T. E. Taylor, will not be won by a straightout Reformer, or retained by a Liberal who touts for Reform votes. 2
