PROTEST FROM ROTORUA. (Per Press AsgociATtbtO ROTOR I A. September 21. Tbe Rotorua Chamber of Commerce, decided to protest against excessive valuations bv Government valuers o.' leaseholds which lessees wish changed t<« freeholds. A block whereof a 70 years’ lease was recently sold for £2OOO was assessed at £IO.OOO capital value. Another, sold two years ago for £2OOO. was assessed at £5400. Applicants have no right of appeal against the valuations. The chamber is asking Mr Hockley, M.P.. to urge the- Government to grant
